Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Maintain accurate care plans and documentation to track client progress and needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment within the care home or client’s residence.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in IT to manage care plans and documentation effectively.
- Strong command of English for clear communication with clients and team members.
- Experience in home care settings is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
- Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
- PA compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others live comfortably and independently.
